The firm was founded as Philips and Roberts Ltd. in 1946, specializing in the provision of civil engineering consulting services to municipalities, conservation authorities and private enterprise. In the late 1960's we became Philips Planning and Engineering Ltd. and in 1998 the firm changed our name to Philips Engineering Ltd.

Although our organization has changed names over the years, we have not changed our purpose. Philips Engineering Ltd. is a client focused Civil Consulting Engineering firm. This is reflected in our mission statement.
